The Yungaburra MarketThe Yungaburra Market is the biggest and oldest market on the Atherton Tablelands. On one day each month, local producers gather on the commons in the middle of the historic village of Yungaburra to sell fresh produce, flowers, home made crafts, local wines, wooden furniture, clothing and just about anything else you can think of. 
From January to November, the markets are held on the 4th Saturday of the month. The December Market - usually the biggest of the year - is specially scheduled to ensure it falls prior to Christmas eve. In 2009 the Christmas Market will be held on Sunday December 20th. See Market Days for more information. The Market runs from 7:30am to 12:30pm. It pays to come early, as some stalls do sell out before noon. The Yungaburra Market is organised by the Yungaburra State Primary School P&C Association. Contact us if you have any questions. The Yungaburra Market is now a Non-Smoking Event
Effective from the August 2008 market, smoking will no longer be allowed on the market grounds. This applies to everyone; visitors, stall-holders, and market volunteers. Designated smoking areas will be available at each of the exits, and we will set up an additional designated smoking area near the lower parking lot. | 15 days to the next Yungaburra Market.
